Deserving students from Hua Hin received a scholarship

Hua Hin District Cultural Council, in collaboration with Phrakhru Opaskanchanatham and local officials, organized scholarships to encourage deserving students in Hua Hin District.

On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in the multipurpose hall of Ban Bo Fai Municipal School was held a scholarship award ceremony for the year 2022. This year, 270 scholarships were awarded at 1,000 baht per scholarship to students and pupils in Hua Hin.

Ms. Lisa Ungheng, chairman of the Hua Hin District Cultural Council, said that this year, the students receiving the scholarship were selected because of their good moral ethics and adherence to religion, and the monarchy as these common values help to build a united society.

These students will be a leading force in the future nation to perpetuate good actions such as compassion and solidarity but also contribute to the preservation of traditional Thai art and culture.

At this scholarship ceremony, Mr. Polkrit Phuangvalaisin, Hua Hin District Chief, presided over the ceremony, along with Ms. Usa Phuangvalaisin, Hua Hin Red Cross representative and Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Hua Hin Mayor, as well as many other officials and religious people from the Prachuap Khiri Khan district.

Mr. Hrakhru Opaskanchanatham, Cultural Advisor of Hua Hin District and Dean of Hua Hin sub-district, as well as the students of the schools who received the scholarship were very pleased and thanked all those who came together to contribute to this event.
