On June 21, Mr Kom Krit Charoenphatanasombat, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, hosted a volunteer development campaign at Thap Sakae District Stadium. Mr Khanun Thongsri, Thap Sakae District Chief, along with all representatives and volunteers, participate in public this charity campaign, which aims to improve and clean the landscape, trim the branches and grass, and spray the bleachers to keep the place clean and safe.
The event’s purpose also reminds the public of the awareness of epidemic prevention and the need to pay attention to cleaning to create safety and good order in the area, in line with the preparation of Thap Sakae Stadium for public use to promote sports activities in the area.
In addition, at Kui Buri Kindergarten (Wang Yao Temple), Kuibri District Chief Mr Montri Langkaphin led the students and volunteers in a road safety campaign to clear and improve traffic signs. And draw crosswalks or zebra crossings to keep teachers, parents and students safe.
Road accidents cause injury, disability and death, as well as economic losses. The Prachuap Road Safety Management Center runs an awareness campaign, leading volunteers to different intersections, drawing slow speed lines and setting up warning signs on the 21st of each month under the slogan “Campaign to Reduce Accidents Around Intersections”. At the same time, students are educated in traffic discipline and common sense of using roads safely.
