Recently renovated and under new ownership, Go Kart Hua Hin offers the only full-sized Go-Kart track in Thailand, 750 meters long, to feature a high speed banked corner, yet still with the highest security ensured by staff who stand by throughout the track to monitor every racer. The track is friendly to beginners and professional drivers. Each vehicle comes with different specifications. The one for juniors is a 220 CC Honda with a 45 km/hr maximum speed. The two-seater car comes with the same specifications as the junior’s and the adult one is also a Honda equipped with 270 cc, 8-9 horsepowers, and 80 km/hr top speed. For a 10-minute race, a standard option, it is usually 10-12 rounds of the course on average.
As security is their number concern, the staff ensures strict instructions before starting a race. First, racers must register to acknowledge safety concerns. Then, they will select the vehicle, get in, and wear a helmet where the staff will check if it is locked properly. After that, the staff will adjust the seat for convenience and safety. Next, the staff will announce to the group how to use the vehicle. Finally, the staff will let the racers and their people by the course take photos for a little while, and begin the race. During racing, the staff stand by throughout the course to monitor safety and assist if any racer requests. After the race finishes, the staff will sanitize and sundry every vehicle and helmet.
Furthermore, the place can service private events such as birthday parties, group racing events for a family, a school, or a company team-building purpose. There is a little cafe that serves snacks such as nuggets, french fries, fried chickens, and drinks such as soda and beer.
