Thai agricultural technologies and innovations are on display at the Thailand Smart Agriculture Pavilion at the 3rd AGRITECHNICA ASIA & HORTI ASIA.
The event will be held at the BITEC Convention and Exhibition Center in Bangkok’s Bang Na district from May 25 to 27. It will take place alongside Horti Asia, Asia’s largest smart horticulture trade show, and the Systems & Components Asia special exhibition.
In line with the government’s Agriculture 4.0 policy, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Chalermchai Sri-on reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to promoting smart agriculture, with the goal of improving farmers’ quality of life through the use of technology.
This focuses on the use of digital technology in the manufacturing process to increase yields, reduce costs, improve competitiveness, and make farmers’ lives easier.
The minister also stated that his agency is accelerating a human resource program for smart agriculture research and development, as well as encouraging state officials to train local farmers to implement new approaches on their farms.
Smart planting technology and agricultural drones, to name a few innovations on display at the event.
