Opening of the event “Local food Local sweets” in Prachuap province

On the evening of May 25, Mr. Sathien Charoenruen, Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, presided over the opening of the tourism event “Local Food, Local Sweets” No. 5, which is held on the beach road in Prachuap Bay in front of Saranwithi Bridge.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Municipality, in cooperation with various authorities and offices such as the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Prachuap Khiri Khan Office is organizing for the 5th time, on May 25 and 26, an event entitled “New Normal Thai way of tourism “local food local sweets” to stimulate the economy.

This will promote tourism in the district. Prachuap City distributes income to the people of the community and tourism operators in the North Northeast, Central and South. This has allowed the private sector to meet, exchange knowledge about tourist information, tourist attraction, local culture. Moreover, it also opens up a travel experience for those who love to eat. Let tourists come to taste delicious food in Sam Ao town and buy products, food, souvenirs to generate income to help tourism entrepreneurs in Prachuap region and various provinces participating in the activity. The highlight of this year is the organization of a local cooking competition. Pineapple, curry with mussels concocted by local community chefs.

Activities for tourists to taste the local food for free are organized. In addition, a distribution of community products will be organized in 15 communities. However, the event must respect the prevention measures of the COVID-19 in accordance with the DMHTT measures throughout the event.
