On May 22, Mr. Pichai Watcharawongpaiboon, Director of Conservation Area Office 3 (SorBor.3), Phetchaburi Branch, received a report from Mr. Somjate Chantana, Head of Kaeng Krachan National Park on the situation of wild water flows in Pa Lao Huai Sat Yai Subdistrict, Hua Hin District.
The continuous heavy rains in recent days have increased the volume of water considerably. In addition, the path leading to the waterfall has become very slippery and is no longer suitable for tourism. In addition to this, the general weather conditions were bad, with scattered rainfall in the areas where the clouds are thick. After assessing the situation, it is expected that there will be more rain in the coming days. Therefore, tourism in the Pala-U Waterfall tourist destination is temporarily closed from May 23, until the situation returns to normal.
