On May 18, at the Mass Training Center (Samanmit Training Center), Muang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, Mr Sathien Chareonrein, Governor of Prachuap Province, presided over the opening of the project to increase the discipline of the village headman.
The village headman, the sub-district doctor, the Kamnan inspector, the village headman’s assistant, and the village security kit (Chor. Bor.) Mr Sinathorn Oh-iam, Permanent Secretary, Mr Thanon Phonphiphas, Muang Prachuap District Chief; they all glad to participate in the campaign.
To enhance knowledge and understanding of the roles and duties under the Local Administrative Law, B.E. 1914 with new amendments and other laws related to raising awareness of the ideology as a leader of local governance, including the development of personality, attitudes, visions, concepts and work methods to suit the current social conditions. From 63 villages in 5 sub-districts of Mueang Prachuap District, 189 people received training. Able to work for the maximum benefit of the people and the nation, speakers from the Provincial Government Offices organized this activity.

Mr Sathien said to the village headman, the district doctor Inspector Kamnan, the village headman’s assistant and Chor Bor, that it is an important mechanism to help. alleviate the suffering of people in the area. Therefore, they asked to work thoroughly and learn to strictly adhere to the disciplined framework, not ultra vires, not making a profit, including not being involved in any illegal actions, especially the people smuggling movement. This training will increase knowledge and skills; it is necessary to operate properly in accordance with the law.
