Ajarn Pom praised by Hua Hin Chief District Officer for his 9-year free haircuts for public

Having provided free haircuts to the public for over 9 years, Jarernpron Sritrakarn or Ajarn Pom and his volunteer team were granted an admiration certificate by Hua Hin Chief District Officer on May 6, 2022, for their good deeds to Hua Hin people.

The Hua Hin administration office holds a ceremony of granting an admiration certificate to anyone who is seen doing good deeds to Hua Hin people when they have found a proper individual. The consideration for the certificate is taken case by case not on a regular basis. Those who dedicate themselves to the public and the impoverished continuously for a long period of time without receiving financial assistance will be awarded the certificate. Mr. Jarernpron received the certificate from Chief District Officer, Ponkrit Puongwalaisin on May 6, 2022, in the presence of other district officers.

Ajarn Pom is a nationwide well-known barber guru who attends many hair contests on Thai and Asian stages as one of the judges. Awarded with many prizes and admirable certificates, he owns a barbershop, Pom Hair Tattoo, located near Paemai Food Garden, Rim Klong Chonlapratarn Road. He provides a wide range of high-quality hair services for male customers from normal haircutting, freestyle, fashion, contemporary vintage styling, and carving hair to haircut classes for those who wish to become a professional barber. 

In addition to his successful career, he has a big heart to return favors to society. Back to 9 years ago, he started a volunteer team to provide free haircuts to kids in remote areas in many cities in Thailand. Later, the biggest free-haircut event he organized was for the people who came to respect the body of the late King Rama IX before his cremation at Huay Mongkol Temple, Bangkok. He then continued to provide more haircut services at Sanam Luang in front of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. He said that the reason he had kept running these events without receiving any money was to solely dedicate the good deeds to the past King Rama IX. 

Now Ajarn Pom is stationed in Hua Hin to run his barber business and his volunteer haircut events. He regularly provides free haircutting with his team at Hua Hin train station 3 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 3 PM.
