On May 4, at the Market Village Shopping Center, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Mr Atichart Chaisri, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin, presided over the opening of the Thai chess tournament “Market Village Makruk Thai Southern Championship 2022 Market Village Khot Satharn Hordee Suan”. The winner will receive an honorary trophy from the Thai Sports Association and a royal sponsorship from His Majesty the King total of THB 120,000. President of the International Checkers Association of Thailand Dr Palphon Rodloytook, Chairman of the Subcommittee of Mak Kradan Sports Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage Mr Udomsuk Nimsian, President of Tourism Business Association Prachuap Province Mrs Wassana Srikanjana, President of Hua Hin / Cha-am Tourism Business Association Mr Charanpol Satchapornthep, Director of Competition Management Mr Amornthep Uammeepian, General Manager of Market Village Hua Hin Shopping Center and Hua Hin Police met and greeted more than 20 Thai chess players participating in the competition. Both Thai and foreign tourists were interested in visiting the game enthusiastically.
Thai chess tournament, “Market Village, Khot Saan, Hor Dee Shake”, was organized by Market Village Hua Hin Shopping Center in collaboration with the Sports Association of Thailand and Thai Chess Club International Chess School, 101, Nong Prue Thai Chess Club @ Pattaya City, under royal patronage to carry on the legend of Thai sports between 4-5 May 65 at the promotion area, 1st floor, Market Village Shopping Center, Hua Hin. The competition was divided into the general public, people’s generation whose domicile is in the southern region, Phetchaburi province downwards, and the student-student class. The first 1-3 winners in each category will receive a trophy and prize money. Those who are interested visited for free.
