The preparations of ‘The Wonders of the Three Bays City and the Red Cross Fair 2022’ have started, empathizing on an economical, orderly and efficient organization.
Mr. Sathien Charoen Rian, governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, chaired the committee meeting to discuss the tourism event, ‘The Wonders of the Three Bays City and the Red Cross Fair 2022’ with the appointed 17 working groups to monitor the organization of activities and the budget for organizing activities. The event will be held at the Chaloem Phrakiat Park, Rama IX Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan City Hall. starting from April 1-10, 2022, totaling 10 days 10 nights. Each committee presented an action plan and an activity list including parade activities at the opening ceremony, stage activities, caravan and amusement park, an exhibition of OTOP products, tourism promotion activities, sports activities, performances at the opening ceremony, a beauty pageant, the provincial Red Cross event, etc.; however, the final approval of the budget for these activities is still under consideration by the secretary committee.
‘The Wonders of the Three Bays City and the Red Cross Fair 2022’ has been annually held for over 8 years. It is the grand collaboration between Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and the Tourism Authority of Thailand using the beauty of Khao Chong Krachok and Prachuap Bay, one of the three beautiful bays developed into a tourism center seaside vacation linked Sam Roi Yot Beach, Pranburi, Hua Hin in the North Zone with the southern zone, Thap Sakae Beach, Bang Saphan, and Bang Saphan Noi. Not only tourism promotion is highlighted in the event, but also cultural stories of the city’s historic heritage and the minorities are spread to compliment the festive experience.
Red Cross event is organized annually across 77 cities in Thailand to promote tourism inside the city, boost the local economy, and preserve local cultural heritage. Since the pandemic, the event has been postponed until this year. It is considered a popular provincial event by Thai people.
