As of January 17, 2022, employees covered by Section 33 of the Social Security Act (SSA) can get vaccinated at any of the 33 centers established by the Social Security Office (SSO).
As an emergency response to the resurgent COVID-19 pandemic and the appearance of the new Omicron variant, Labor Minister Suchart Chomklin requested SSO Secretary General Boonsong Thapchaiyuth to work with businesses and employers to provide booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to employees covered by Section 33 of the SSA. There are 20 vaccination centers in Bangkok and 13 in 10 other provinces. These centers will administer the vaccines on week days beginning January 17.
Secretary General of SSO said that the Ministry of Public Health will provide 436,080 doses to workers in 11 provinces during the booster campaign in January. These provinces are : Bangkok, Chonburi, Rayong, Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Ayutthaya and Songkhla.
