La Mexicana is a restaurant endeavour by Canadian Terry who is looking to bring some of his favourite foods into his Hua Hin lifestyle. He has combined with a local chef to provide affordable Mexican favourites that when matched with a Margarita, make it a wonderful night out!
So on to the food!
Hard shell beef taco, lightly seasoned beef sitting, home made sauce, with lettuce and tomato sitting in a crunch shell. I gave a heartily squeeze to the lime provide for a zesty taste. And added followed of fresh cream. Comes is a set of Two, available in lamb, pork, beef and chicken and vegetarian
We had the beef burrito filled with Mexican rice, kidney beans, homemade EM Chalida sauce, and cheese inside and on too, with sauce decorated with red Chilli. It’s definitely enough to fill anyone’s hunger with the decent size presented. Really enjoyed adding the sauces to create that extra heat, with a small smothering of sour cream added by ourselves to nicely contrast with the heat.
With sauces of home made Tabasco and salsa sauce to add. Available in lamb, pork, beef and chicken and vegetarian
Ground pork and chopped multi colour capsicums/pepper and onion. Fried on the pan and then add home-made salsa and cheese into the tortilla. Grill and then add on top, cheese, red sauce and jalapeños.
Ahh the hands on part of the night where you become a mini chef at your own table, combining meat, cooked veggies and layers of sauce, cheese and sour cream according to taste. This is where you can really make it your own concoction. Wrapped in a flour tortilla, but careful not to overfill and cause a mess ! This is served sizzling hot, which is always the best way to serve fajitas, which you can smell coming a mile away.
