The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will launch its mobile vaccination service next week, to provide free inoculations to people living in various communities in the capital, said Pol Cpt Pongsakorn Kwanmuang, spokesman for the city’s administration, yesterday (Wednesday).
A fleet of blue buses, which has been converted into mobile vaccination units, was unveiled to the media yesterday. Each vehicle is fitted out with medical equipment, including a fridge for the storage of vaccines, first aid kits, stretchers, a portable automated external defibrillator (AED).
